The Bride

Kristen is a scientist with a deep appreciation for nature and the outdoors. She enjoys hiking and finding enjoyable ways to keep active. Creative and curious by nature, she often takes up new skills — from painting and embroidery to cooking and sewing — and finds satisfaction in making things by hand. She values order and planning, and takes great care in keeping things neat and well-organised. Her family and her doggies are central to her life and bring her great joy.

The Groom

Matthew is a software developer with a passion for solving complex problems. He brings patience, focus and determination to every challenge — once he starts working something out, he rarely lets go. He enjoys cycling, hiking and playing padel, and takes equal pleasure in a quiet, home-cooked meal or a lekker braai shared with friends. As a long-time fan of heavy and nu metal, he’s particularly fond of moments when Kristen joins in singing his favourite songs. Matthew's dachshunds, Dax and Coco, are constant companions and bring joy to every moment.

Together, Kristen and Matthew share a love of the outdoors, good food and life’s simple pleasures — and they look forward to celebrating their marriage with the people who mean the most to them.
